How hard is the water where I live?
Most of Davis, Weber, and Salt Lake County lands in the hard to very hard range. We test on site so the softener is sized to your actual grains per gallon, not a guess.
How much salt should my softener use?
It depends on hardness and household size, but if you are never adding salt, the unit is likely not regenerating and needs service.
Can a softener be added to any home?
Almost always. We install a bypass loop at the main so the softener can be serviced without shutting off the house, and we keep outdoor hose bibs on unsoftened water.
